John Goodman! His Walter Sobchak is just legendary.
ReplyDeleteOh, damn. That's tough. I really like Chris Cooper (LOVED him in Lone Star), and it's hard to vote against the guy from The Muppets.
ReplyDeleteHowever, one of my favorite films ever is True Stories, and Goodman is absolutely essential to that film. So I vote for Goodman--and I back that up with his great work in multiple Coen Brothers films.
I'm gonna go Goodman. I LOVE Walter too much....plus, The Artist and Monsters Inc. are great too. Cooper has American Beauty but Goodman's film list ^ is too great.
ReplyDeleteJohn Goodman. I love Chris Cooper but how can you beat Walter Schoback.
ReplyDeleteI gotta go with Goodman for all his work with the Coens.
ReplyDeleteGoodman. Tough to pair practically any contemporary actor or actress against Goodman.
ReplyDeleteI prefer Goodman. He's always such a welcome presence on screen.
ReplyDeleteThis is tough. I'll go with Cooper only because Goodman is crushing him right now - probably because Goodman has had a lot more comedic roles. Cooper is great in both Lone Star and American Beauty.
ReplyDeleteMy vote goes to Goodman as well. Monster's Inc! :)
