  1. I would have to go with Will Ferrell, even though my fav movie between them all is Little Miss Sunshine. It was a tough call though!

Also I would have exchanged one Carell movie for Dan in Real Life. I always liked that movie for some reason minus Dane Cook's presence.

    1. Dan in Real life is a film I have been meaning to see for a while now.

  2. Carell, definetly. Ferel is just annoying and not funny at all.

    1. I have to say Old School still makes me laugh out loud.

  3. Steve Carell. He's got more range as an actor and a sweetness that is engaging. I like Will Ferrell and I think he's a better actor than people give him credit for. It's just that Carell does more different type of films. Plus, he plays one of my all-time favorite characters in Brick Tamland. My sweet Brick!

    1. I still do not understand the love for Anchorman...only laughed once through the entire film.

  4. 40 year old version? Typo?

Will Ferrell is annoying and mostly not funny. BUT Stranger Than Fiction, Zoolander, Night at the Roxbury are some of my favourite comedies and if he can make more movies like Everything Must Go he definitely has potential to be better than he is.

    1. Thanks for catching the typo! I have no idea what I was thinking at the time.

My favourite Ferrell films are Old School, Stranger Than Fiction, and Elf. Also, I thought Ferrell showed a lot of potential in Winter Passing. While I was not a big fan of the film overall, he did a decent job in it.

    2. I half thought it was called that in puritanical states in america

  5. Hands down Steve Carell. I just enjoy his humor a lot more and the only films of Will Ferrell's I truly enjoy are Stranger Than Fiction and Elf (two films that he isn't his typical performance). There's a lot of times where I've considered watching a film just because of Steve Carell.

  6. Oh, tough one. Ultimately I would have to go with Steve Carell, mostly because I'm not a fan of Will Ferrell sports comedies. Also, Steve has played a variety of interesting characters while Will Ferrell has, with a few notable exceptions, pretty much only played the same archetypes.
