Indy's Dark Knight Is Made Of Iron

The Academy Awards are this weekend! Yes I still get jazzed over the Oscars, especially in years like this when the crop of films are so strong. Before you settle into the big show on Oscar night, be sure to hit the EZ1 Production's Lounge. The movie loving folks there have set up their annual Oscar-style movie nominations. Organized by Keith, the mastermind behind The Sho’Nuff blog, the various categories range from the standard fare (i.e. Best Picture, Best Actor, etc.) to the unique (i.e. Best Actor under 21, Best Pregnancy Film, etc.). While no actual hardware is handed out, it is a fun read nonetheless. Plus the site has a lot of other cool tidbits to keep you occupied for quiet sometime.

To help pass the winter blahs, here are 9 reasons to look forward to the summer:

9) Speed Racer - Although I loved the cartoon, I'm going into this one with low expectations.

8) Hancock - Will Smith + blockbuster not titled "Wild Wild West" = Boxoffice Gold.

7)The Incredible Hulk – Yes the film is live action, but the animated show was far more entertaining than Ang Lee's Hulk film...made more sense too.

6) Hellboy 2: The Golden Army - The first one was surprisingly entertaining, let's see if they can go two for two.

Random Song 3: Vampire Weekend - Campus (buy)
Random Song 4: Lupe Fiasco - Hi Definition (ft. Snoop Dogg & Pooh Bear) (buy)

5) Pineapple Express - Judd Aptow and Seth Rogen. That's all I need to know.

4) Iron Man - Please be more "Batman Begins" and "Spider-Man 2" rather than "Ghost Rider" and "Spider-Man 3". Comic book fans can only forgive so much...

3) Wall-E - Pixar, Pixar, Pixar.

2) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - When I heard they were doing another one I thought to myself "Ford is too old!". After seeing the trailer all I can say is "welcome back Indy, welcome back"

1) The Dark Knight - Heath's final role, plus the films looks just as good as Batman Begins did. Fingers crossed on this one.
